Spring Into Action With the adidas Yeezy 500
The adidas Yeezy 500 sneakers were initially only available on a limited pre-order basis in December 2017, but was then released to the general public in 2018. The bubble-like, bulky sole bears similarities to the "Feet You Wear" construction offered by adidas in the 1990s. adidas Yeezy 500 sneakers display a distinctive silhouette and mix and match modern with retro design components.
Design and materials
adidas x Yeezy 500 footwear features a unique design style. The upper is formed from premium leather and nubuck, cow suede, and mesh. Various-sized mesh panel windows provide breathability and decorate the suede upper, plus a chunky midsole on these low tops. The rubber midsole wraparound offers support and protection against rubbing and abrasion.
There is an adiPRENE midsole and Ortholite inner sole support system, offering a cushioning impact absorption and rebound action. The rubber outsole is designed to deliver optimal traction. Another useful feature is the lace eyelets that possess a piping area that is reflective, aiding visibility in dark environments. Some other materials used are polyester for the outer and polyamide in the lining.
adidas x Yeezy 500 sneakers also came onto the market offering infant and kiddies sizes as well as high-top versions. The adidas group shoe line is conscious of using eco-wise materials from sustainable and honorable sources as well as ethical labor standards. In addition, recycled materials are used wherever possible to reduce wastage and their carbon footprint.
adidas x Yeezy 500 colorways
The colorway of Yeezy 500 boots mainly follows a monochromatic style. The debut color scheme was titled "Desert Rat". Various colorways have been released in this collection, including Yeezy 500 all-black and Yeezy 500 all-white versions, such as "Utility Black" and "Stone." Many of the models display a neutral, almost pastel palette in contrast to the chunky silhouette.
Other color palettes include "Blush" and "Super Moon Yellow." The adidas Yeezy 500 Utility Black was released in the summer of 2018 as the third colorway to drop, and it aims for a bolder look than previous models. The newer Yeezy 500 Enflame breaks the mold with a fiery multi-colored colorway.
