The Nike Air Force 1 Low Experimental Sail, an experimental low-top edition of the Air Force 1, eschews leather and other more traditional materials. Instead, the shoe's upper is made of a special foam with a laminated texture. Given the upper's special white colorway, it looks somewhat like it's made of wet, drooping sand. There are bits of orange on the heel tab and around the tongue. The laminate material reaches down to the midsole, which is made of white rubber. The outsole uses icy blue rubber.
